PACE Central Michigan is seeking a Center Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new Houghton Lake Center, currently under construction and anticipated to open in late fall of this year. This position is expected to begin in September of 2026. Under the direction of the Executive Director, this role is responsible for the coordination of all services and disciplines within the center, ensuring high-quality, participant-centered care while establishing efficient operations from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all day center operations, including care planning, interdisciplinary meetings, assessments, and family conferences
- Supervise and support multidisciplinary staff, including nursing, personal care, recreation, and administrative team members
- Coordinate participant admissions, assessments, and ongoing care needs
- Ensure effective communication of participant status changes across the care team
- Manage center budget and resources responsibly
- Serve as a liaison between staff, leadership, and community service providers
- Support 24-hour care coordination and service delivery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist with Medicaid application and redetermination processes
- Promote a positive, collaborative team environment aligned with PACE mission and values
Qualifications:
- Clinical licensure such as LPN, RN/BSN, MSW, or similar healthcare credentials preferred.
- Candidates with strong experience in healthcare leadership, care coordination, participant services, or interdisciplinary team environments are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory role
- At least one (1) year of experience working with the frail elderly population
- Current Michigan licensure (as applicable)
- Valid Michigan driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance/registration
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
