Honoring Bro. Larry Judson, PGM

A Legacy of Kindness, Compassion, and Heart

It is with a heavy heart and deep gratitude that I reflect on the life of Past Grand Master Larry Judson, whose passing has left a profound void in our Masonic family and in all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Larry was, at his core, a kind and generous man—someone whose warmth was immediate and whose smile never failed to brighten a room. There was an unmistakable spirit about him, one that was truly infectious. He lifted others simply by being present, and he carried himself with a sincerity that made everyone feel seen, valued, and respected.

Whenever Larry visited the office, he made it a point to treat every person he encountered with genuine dignity and appreciation. He was never hurried in his gratitude, never reserved in his kindness. He reminded us, in both word and action, that our work—and more importantly, our presence—mattered.

Larry was well known and deeply loved by all who crossed his path, and rightly so. His life was marked by a tireless commitment to others. From the day I met him, I never saw him slow down. He seemed to be constantly moving—finding ways, both large and small, to lend a hand, offer encouragement, or simply make someone’s day a little better.

He was, quite simply, born to help. And he lived that calling fully.

While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the extraordinary legacy he leaves behind—a legacy built not only on leadership and service, but on kindness, humility, and a genuine love for others. Larry Judson made our world better, one interaction at a time.

May we honor his memory by carrying forward the same spirit of compassion and service that he embodied so effortlessly.
