A Mind for Numbers, a Gift for Stories
Pontiac Lodge No. 21 | 59 Years of Masonic Service
Anyone who knew Donald E. Kennamer knew that he was an extraordinary human being. When meeting him, even for the first time, people immediately sensed his mindful presence, exceptional intelligence, and sharp wit. He was a gifted storyteller who could bring every tale to life, often capturing the voices and mannerisms of the characters with remarkable accuracy.
His determination to succeed and always do his very best was evident in everything he did. He loved God, family, and country with all his heart. The world was a much better place with Donald E. Kennamer in it. He was the best man I have ever known.
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on July 27, 1930, Donald graduated from Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College on May 25, 1953, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. On May 23, 1982, he graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. He was a devoted member of Wycliffe Presbyterian Church and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
One of his favorite verses was Proverbs 3:5-6:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He will make straight your paths.
