Honoring Bro. Burke Rupersburg

A Heart Always Ready to Serve

I am honored to share the legacy of my very special husband, Burke, with whom I shared 69 wonderful years of marriage.

Burke proudly served as a U.S. Marine for three years during the Korean War. After his military service, he became a member of the Utica-Macomb Lodge No. 64 in Utica, Michigan, making him a 55-year Mason.

Following his retirement, we spent our winters in Florida, where Burke joined the Scottish Rite in Fort Myers. He also became a member of the Huron Shrine Club and enthusiastically participated in many parades and club activities.

Burke was deeply committed to helping others. Whenever he was able, he volunteered his time driving families by bus to Children’s Hospital in Chicago. He was always willing to give of himself and support those in need. Burke passed away on October 13, 2021. His kindness, generosity, and dedication to others will always be remembered, and he will forever hold a special place in my heart.
