A Familiar Face and a Friend to Gladwin
Daniel “Danny” Pahl, a devoted member of Gladwin Lodge No. 397, dedicated 45 years of service to Freemasonry and lived a life defined by faith, family, hard work, and community involvement.
Danny spent 32 years as a dedicated employee of Dow Corning, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues through his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Following his retirement, he continued to be an active and valued presence in both his church and community.
A faithful member of New Beginnings Global Methodist Church and a proud Mason, Danny exemplified the principles of service, integrity, and fellowship throughout his life. He was known for his warm personality, generous spirit, and willingness to support others whenever needed.
Danny enjoyed many passions, including golf, hunting, and music. He especially loved sharing his musical talents with family, friends, and his community. A loyal supporter of local youth, he could often be found cheering on Gladwin Athletics, taking pride in the accomplishments of the next generation and lending encouragement wherever he could.
Above all else, Danny treasured his family. He and his beloved wife, Susie, shared an extraordinary 62 years of marriage, building a life centered on love, faith, and devotion. Together they created a family legacy that included 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy. Whether attending family gatherings, celebrating milestones, or simply spending time together, Danny cherished every moment with those he loved.
Danny’s life was a reflection of the values he held dear: faith, service, community, and family. His kindness, wisdom, and steady presence touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
He will be lovingly remembered, deeply missed, and forever honored by his family, friends, Brothers of the Craft, and the community he served so faithfully.
