Honoring Bro. Bruce James Gardner

There simply aren’t proper words to relay the man my beloved husband, Bruce James Gardner, was. But I will sincerely try.

From the day I met him, he impressed me. Not only was he exceptionally talented (and handsome), but his character was incredible. He was a man not only of strong beliefs, but of actions to back those beliefs up. Born to Leslie and Lucille Gardner (also members of the Masonic family), he was shown by example how to be a good human being. Consequently, he lived his life in a manner that set an example for others, not by trying, but by living. He gained the respect and love of so many as he traveled through life. He gained personal strength from his days as a Boy Scout, being a Mason, and devoting his life to God. He instilled strength in others as he inspired us all to be the best versions of ourselves. He worked hard, but always had time to help someone out. He didn’t wait to be asked. He noticed people’s needs and was there for them. He gave up his dreams of traveling in retirement in order that we could move my elderly Mother in with us and provide her with love and care beyond what most people would do. And he did it without regret. It was my greatest honor and blessing to share life’s journey with him.
