Michigan Masonic Home is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Business Office Coordinator to join our team. This role supports key financial and billing functions that directly impact the resident experience. In this position, you will support daily and monthly revenue cycle activities, ensuring the accurate processing of resident charges, payments, billing, and collections. You will help evaluate resident financial status from pre-admission through account resolution and assist with invoicing, cash management, and accounts receivable. This role also works closely with Admissions and third-party billing partners to coordinate applications, programs, and related systems.
Duties and Responsibilities to Include but not Limited to:
- Assists with entering and balancing the Daily Census in PointClickCare (PCC).
- Assists with the Complete Payer setup and changes for all residents.
- Assists with the coordination of ensuring that all resident applications are complete in coordination with the Admissions Department.
- Assists with the maintenance of financial files on all residents.
- Assists and ensures that all updates occur in PCC related to financial, insurance, and demographic information to include but not limited to: social security, pension, or other income changes, change of address, service changes (i.e., long term care, skilled, home for the aged, independent), level of care changes, responsible party changes, etc.
- Assists with Medicaid Redeterminations and Re-Authorizations.
- Assists with determining current resident eligibility to ensure coverage/days
- Assist with monthly triple check to ensure all coding is accurate.
- Assists with resident monthly collections as applicable.
- Assists with ensuring the accuracy in PCC related to resident charges.

Qualifications
- Associate degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
- 3+ years of senior care business office or billing experience preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and private pay billing
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) or similar EMR systems preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
